In classic prego lady fashion, whenever I found myself wide awake during the night last night, I was up thinking about hair clips! I'm totally addicted!
It was so much fun having you girls over last night. You all made adorable barrettes for your little girls - can't wait to see them modeling your creations the next time I see them!
Thank you for coming! And a big thanks to Gretchen for teaching and mentoring us. Someone book a party with her so I can make these clips I'm thinking about at 2:00 a.m. and get some sleep in the next couple of months before I *really* have to be up during the night! :)

So when Lucy woke up this morning, she sat on my lap and inspected the entire clip holder full of clips I made last night. She was so excited! Mike brought over a mirror and she tried them on one by one, checking herself out and giving herself kisses in the mirror, but she always went back to the purple one I made in between trying on each of the others. We have a clear favorite! Purple with buttons wins! Now I just wish I'd made 17 purple clips instead of 17 different colored ones! We're going to have DRAMA if that sucker gets lost. Ha! Gretchen, do me a favor and add more purple options to your stash!! ;)

No, thank you for hosting and thank you Gretchen for having such a great business. Last night, Aisling was up a lot of the night congested, so since I was awake with her, I too was thinking (obsessively) about making hair clips. Katie, we should have called each other and maybe got it out of our systems. I thought of all of the hair clips I didn't make and should have made, and mostly I thought about how much fun I had! I mean, I really had a great time. This morning Jim kept making fun of me because all I talked about was making barrettes. Aisling also had a great time going through her bag of hair clips. Her favorites were the sparkly pink with the bunny and the scotty dog. She also wanted me and Jim to each wear a clip. I will have to get a photo posted of Jim with the strawberry hair clip.
Anyway, I was thinking that I would love to host a party. I think I could just invite the other girls in our play group that didn't get to go this time (please, don't feel guilty, Katie - you just have a lot of friends and there is only so much room) and perhaps some of my other mommy friends. The only thing is that I won't be able to realistically do it until August. So I wanted to get feedback from you other mamas from our play group that were there and see if any of you had strong desires to host a party. If you did and you were going to do it sooner and invite all the rest of the girls from the play group, it may not make sense for me to do it again with the same group of girls. So let me know. If no one was going to host, then I will get with Gretchen and try and get a date put on the books. Gretchen, how soon do you need to book a party?
